About Me
I'm Zoe Chace-Donahue, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in OCD and anxiety treatment. Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals across the lifespan and with a wide range of mental health concerns. While those experiences have been incredibly valuable, I found myself consistently drawn to working with anxiety and OCD and ultimately chose to specialize in these areas. I'm especially interested in helping people who feel exhausted by chronic worry, overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, and difficulty tolerating uncertainty. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching clients discover that life can feel lighter, more expansive, and less defined by fear.
Professional Background
I am licensed to provide telehealth services to adults in New York and Colorado.
My clinical work is grounded in evidence-based treatment for OCD and anxiety, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have specialized experience in OCD treatment through the Mount Sinai Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry OCD Specialty Clinic, where I participated in ongoing ERP-focused training, supervision, case consultation, and didactic learning. I have training in ERP, CBT, and ACT.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work and my Bachelor of Arts from Bates College, where I double majored in Neuroscience and Philosophy.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I'm not working, you'll often find me outside on a hiking trail, planning my next adventure, getting lost in a fantasy novel, working on a creative project, or spending time with the people (and dog) I love.
Time outdoors helps me slow down, reconnect with what matters most, and maintain a sense of balance and perspective in everyday life.
