My Approach
I use evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand anxiety, OCD, and the patterns that keep them going. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, and uncertainty.
Meaningful change doesn't happen the same way for everyone, so I tailor therapy to each person's goals, needs, and pace. Some clients come looking for short-term, structured treatment. Others benefit from a longer-term process that combines practical tools with deeper exploration and support.
My goal is to help clients make meaningful changes while feeling challenged, supported, and understood.
Tools and Interventions
-
ERP is considered the gold-standard treatment for OCD and is also highly effective for many anxiety-related concerns. Together, we'll practice approaching fears, uncertainty, and discomfort in new ways rather than relying on compulsions, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, or other habits that keep anxiety stuck.
-
CBT helps us identify patterns in thinking and behavior that may be contributing to anxiety. We'll work to better understand those patterns and develop practical strategies for change.
-
ACT focuses on building psychological flexibility. Rather than waiting for anxiety to disappear, we'll work on developing a different relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings while moving toward the life you want to build.
-
Change isn't always straightforward. At times, therapy may involve exploring ambivalence, processing difficult experiences, increasing self-awareness, and identifying obstacles that are getting in the way of meaningful change. I strive to balance practical tools with genuine understanding, helping clients feel both supported and empowered as they work toward their goals.
Treatment is tailored to each client's goals, needs, and circumstances while remaining grounded in evidence-based principles.
